Our client, a leading multinational company in the leisure and entertainment sector, currently in the process of expansion, with several work centers throughout Spain, and more than 500 employees.
Within its expansion plan we are looking for a Junior Data Analyst, will report directly to the Data Analyst Manager.
Our client seeks to invest to grow the brand in Spain and other international markets, as well as develop the digital business of our Spanish locations.
The brand is looking to grow its international digital revenue base as a predominantly UK based business. The team is a fundamental part of this strategic ambition.
This position is based in Barcelona alongside our design and technology team.
Jop Purpose:
Provide insightful, actionable analyses through dashboards, and reports, to impact our revenue, productivity, acquisition, attrition, operational efficiencies, cross-sell strategies, customer behavior, and segmentation.
This role comes with a high rate of exposure to various parts of the business due to regular senior stakeholder engagement.
Main Accountabilities and Responsabilities:
- Extract, transform and load data from different data sources.
- Work with existing and new technologies to shape the development of analytical insight delivery.
- Translates customer, transactional and behavioral data into key insights and business deliverables.
- Presents findings to key stakeholders, and inputs to negotiations on strategies to drive performance across the business.
- Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to build data products that enable others to work with reporting effectively and inform decision-making that solve business problems with data.
- Engage with Key stakeholders to develop key metrics to measure business performance.
Knowledge, Expertise and Qualifications:
- Degree qualified.
- Demonstrated ability to build solutions and user-friendly dashboards and reports using BI tools.
- Experience manipulating data stored in relational databases using SQL.
- Experience Engaging with Key stakeholders.
- Ability to work as part of a team delivering solutions that can be deployed into production.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently to manage and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Excellent experience working in a data driven environment.
- Familiar with Agile methodology (JIRA).
- Ability to gather requirements and map business needs to KPI dashboards.
- Creative, innovative thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous and thorough, with a healthy respect for quality & standards.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate results to non-technical audiences.
- Essential: very good knowledge of English at all levels and native-level Spanish.

We offer:
- Full-time from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with flexible hours and telework of 100% after the onboarding period, and 2 or 3 days a month arranged in the offices.
- Work center: Barcelona (center), living in Barcelona area or willing to relocate.

- Salary: Competitive depending on experience and ability of the candidate.
