PHP Full Stack Developer

Our client, a leading multinational company in the leisure and entertainment sector, currently in the process of expansion, with several work centers throughout Spain, and more than 550 employees.

Within its expansion plan we are looking for a PHP Full Stack Developer, taking care of maintenance issues, small new features, promotions, strategic projects, third party integrations, etc. both for Spain and Portugal jurisdictions.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• He/she will be part of a team of developers working on the digital international group platform.
• Evolution and rebuilding of the group’s websites.
• Creation of new sites and/or sites for new jurisdictions (countries).
• Development of interfaces for new gaming providers.
• Updating existing interfaces or protocols.
• Integration third parties APIs.
• Development and maintenance of backend processes.
• Development and maintenance of new frontend functionalities.

Knowledge, Expertise and Qualifications:

• +3 years of experience using PHP with any MVC framework (i.e.: Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.).
• Javascript, JQuery, HTML5/CSS3
• Desirable/valuable or willing to progress to: NodeJS with Hexagonal architecture.
• Design for mobile/responsive
• SQL
• Basic Linux knowledge
• GIT

Working knowledge with: Azure cloud or OVH (desirable)

Requirements:

• A technical level in English is a must.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with these technologies.

• Used to work in a team, easygoing, pro-active, who looks for solutions if stopped by any problem and who doesn’t get frustrated.
• Team contributor with ideas, help, proposals. Open minded and that works with effectiveness, practical mind.
• Used to work with collaboration tools.

We offer:

• Full-time from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with flexible hours and telework of 100% after the onboarding period, and 2 or 3 days a month arranged in the offices
•  Living in Barcelona’s area or without any problem to travel to Barcelona if requested. Work center: Barcelona (center)
